The Moscow Piano Trio is nowadays considered one of the best chamber ensembles of the world. Its members are soloists of the Moscow State Philharmony and teach at the Moscow State Conservatory. Their musical career was born under the guide of very famous leading musicians: Bonduriansky graduated in prof. Bashkirov's class, Ivanov graduated in prof. Yankelevich's class, and Utkin was student of prof. Mstislav Rostropovich. As a Trio, they specialized under the guide of prof. Gaidamovich.

A first success for the Trio came in 1969 at the International Competition in Munich; in 1972 the Trio won the First Prize at International Competition in Belgrade; in 1975 they won the First Prize at "Interforum" International Music Festival in Budapest; and finally the Gold Medal "M. Ravel" was awarded to them in 1976 in Bordeaux "Musical May" Festival. Their repertoire is really enormous and includes all classical literature, written for trio, for trio and other instruments and vocalists, for trio and orchestra (the Triple Concertos by Beethoven, Martinu, Casella, Alexander Tchaikovsky, Nikolayev and others) and quite all the contemporary works.

The Moscow Trio's playing, trained and refined during a 30-years career, is perfect: their virtuoso technique, along with a deep musical culture, an extraordinary sensitiveness and attention to each detail of the played music, make every concert a great event. Moscow Trio has recorded a lot of musical masterpieces in LP, cassette and CD by "Art & Electronics"(USA), "Le chant du monde"(France), "Tritonus" and "Marimba classics" (Germany), "Vista Vera" (Russia). In its tours abroad, the Moscow Trio has got everywhere a great success of the audience and critics.
