Patryk Morgaś

Born in 1999 in Mrągowo. He started learning to play the piano at the F. Chopin State Primary School in Mrągowo, which he continued at the F. Nowowiejski State Primary and Secondary Music School in Gdańsk and the Secondary Music School in Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz. Since October 2018 he is a student of the S. Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk in the piano class of Dr Kordian Gora. 

He is a laureate of many national and international competitions, including the 3rd place in the 1st International 5th National Chopin Piano Competition in Turzno, the 3rd place at the International Orbetello Piano Competition, the Prize of the President of the Podkarpacie Foundation for Cultural Development for the best performance of a piano concerto and the Artistic Prize named after Tatiana Shebanova  "For special Chopin predisposition" at the 14th International Piano Forum "Bieszczady bez granic".

He also received the title of Laureate at the 55th Polish Piano Festival in Slupsk.

He has given concerts, among others, in the Old Town Hall in Gdańsk, the Frederic Chopin Museum in Warsaw and the Polish Baltic Philharmonic. He has cooperated with the "Akademia" Chamber Orchestra of Lviv and the "NeoQuartet" string quartet.

He participated in master classes with such pianists as Prof. Andrzej Jasinski, Prof. Alicja Paleta-Bugaj, Prof. Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroñ, Prof. Waldemar Andrzejewski and Prof. Bernd Goetzke.
